Madame Zingara will forever be remembered as the enchanting restaurant nestled in the heart of Cape Town, where every evening was a celebration of innovative cuisine, glitter-dusted service and outlandish hats.

When this renowned institution was burnt to the ground at the end of 2006, it signalled the poignant end of an era as well as the birth of the magical Theatre of Dreams, which has completely transformed the concept of dining out and entertainment in South Africa.

Nestled in Founders Garden, and housed in an antique mirror tent, Mojolenas is a unique fusion of the innovative a la carte menu and the enchanting bohemian delight of the original Madame Zingara, combined with a dash of the glitter & stardust of the Theatre of Dreams.

Mojolenas offers the best in local entertainment, led by our amazing Step Sisters, whose tight, energised tribute show is guaranteed to get any floor to its feet.

In addition to the main restaurant there is the Secret Garden, where cocktails and light meals can be enjoyed as the sun sets over Table Mountain.

Our resident stars are The Amazing Step Sisters, who will light up the stage almost every evening with their brilliant foot-tapping renditions of old Motown and glam disco that we all remember so well.

Their fabulous costumes, snappy synchronised choreography and extensive repertoire of legendary songs is guaranteed to get any room on its feet.

Born to entertain, our gorgeous girls have performed around the world and have also appeared in local productions, many of which were renowned David Kramer/Taliep Petersen collaborations.

In addition to our delicious divas is a diverse array of fabulous artistes, from magicians to belly dancers who will enthrall and mesmerize as they did at our beloved original Madame Zingara – where a new surprise is always just around the corner, and no evening ever the same twice.
